Join bestselling children’s author, Abi Elphinstone, as she talks about her new books: Ember Spark & The Thunder of Dragons and Ember Spark and The Frost Phoenix. Abi will be revealing where she finds her ideas – from shower gel bottles and street signposts to adventures in Mongolia – as well as showing kids how to find their own stories, dream up titles and nail that opening line. This is an event that champions the joy of reading and writing while encouraging kids to be curious, courageous and kind.

This event will take place in Grimm & Co’s Emporium of Stories in Rotherham and will last for approximately 1 hour. Abi will then be signing copies of her books until 5.30pm. Books are available to buy in the Apothecary to the Magical.

Suitable for ages 6-12. Please ensure that each child attending has a ticket.

Parents/carers do not have to stay with their child, but are able to wait in the Feastery cafe while the event takes place. We will have delicious hot and cold drinks, snacks and cakes on offer until 4.30pm.
